Dr. Phatak obtained his degree in EE from SGSITS Indore and his M Tech and Ph D from IIT Bombay, where he has been serving since 1971. He retired in 2018, and is currently a Professor Emeritus. He started an IT incubator at IIT Bombay, and the country's first interactive distance learning program. He is regarded as the pioneer of smart card usage for financial transactions in India. He successfully completed several national projects and is one of the pioneers of MOOCs. He was an advisor to SBI, RBI, UTI, IDBI, LIC, New India, UIIC, SEBI, etc. and has worked on several boards. He has been conferred several lifetime achievement awards and was honoured with Padma Shri in 2013.
Mr. S. Ramadorai is a distinguished leader who has made significant contributions to various sectors throughout his career. He served as the Chairman of the National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) from 2011 to 2016.
Mr. Ramadorai had a remarkable tenure at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Taking over as CEO & MD in 1996, he led TCS through its IPO in 2004 and retired in 2009.
Mr. Ramadorai has received several awards, including the Padma Bhushan and CBE, for his contributions to the IT industry.
His leadership emphasizes green innovations, net zero solutions, and diversity and inclusion.
Shri Kamlesh Chandra Varshney took charge as Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in Mumbai on 20th September, 2023. Prior to this assignment he was Joint Secretary (Tax Policy and Legislation) in the Department of Revenue, Government of India.
Shri Varshney is MBA from IIM, Lucknow and is also a law graduate. He has also worked in Merchant Navy after being trained on T. S. Rajendra.
Shri Varshney is 1990 batch Indian Revenue Service Officer who has worked in various capacities in the Income-tax Department and Finance Ministry. He was the first Commissioner of Advance Pricing Agreement and has a distinction of rolling out APA program successfully in India. He is on the panel of tax experts of UNDP. He has worked for five years with tax administration of Papua New Guinea helping them in investigation and capacity building. Shri Varshney is recipient of the Finance Minister Award for his contribution to Indian Tax policy and Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme. Shri Varshney is a sports enthusiast and loves teaching.
Shri Varshney will handle various departments like Market Intermediaries Regulation and Supervision Department, Legal Affairs Department-LAD1, Integrated Surveillance Department, Information Technology Department, Recovery & Refund Department and Special Enforcement Cell.
Shri K. Rajaraman belongs to the 1989 batch of Indian Administrative Service (Tamil Nadu cadre) and has assumed the responsibility of the Chairperson of International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) after serving for nearly 35 years in various leadership roles in Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu. Prior to joining the IFSCA, he served as the Secretary to Government of India in the Department of Telecommunications. He is a B. Tech Graduate in Electronics & Communications, a first-class MBA and Master of Economics.
Starting his career as a Design Engineer in BHEL, Trichy, during his rich and varied experience as an IAS Officer, he had held various administrative positions in the areas of Investment Promotion, Foreign Direct Investment, Public Sector Undertakings, Industrial Infrastructure, VAT Administration, etc. He was MD of Chennai Metro Railways for nearly 4 years during its early construction phase, Commissioner for Commercial Taxes in Government of Tamil Nadu, and Joint Secretary Expenditure in Government of India. He also served as Additional Secretary, Investment, IER and Administration in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
Akhilesh is Partner, Global Cyber Security Leader, Head Clients & Markets, National Alliances and TMT Industry Leader for KPMG in India. Akhilesh has led complex consulting engagements in over 40 countries. Akhilesh is also a member of the World Economic Forum's Centre for Cybersecurity, wherein he recently contributed to developing a framework for Digital Trust.
As the leader of KPMG's Global Cyber Security Consulting services, Akhilesh has over two decades of experience in advising clients on matters relating to cyber security strategy, transforming cyber security posture and dealing with cyber incidents. He has led large teams and advised global corporations and governments with respect to the protection of mission-critical business assets, infrastructure and information.
Akhilesh has been instrumental in emphasizing the need for a multi-dimensional cyber strategy, with a key focus on the human element along with process and technology. He possesses good knowledge of behavioral psychology and is enthusiastic about addressing the issues of business and digital technology risks in a holistic manner, especially through the application of user behavior analytics.
Akhilesh has received Consulting Magazine's Global Consultant of the Year award for 2019. He is a part of the Executive Council of NASSCOM, the premier trade body and chamber of commerce of the Technology industry in India. Akhilesh has also advised regulators in the banking and services industry to help build frameworks for enhancing cyber security, privacy and fraud management practices. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and is often quoted in business and technology publications.
Anil Valluri is the Regional Vice President for the India and SAARC region at Palo Alto Networks. In this role, Valluri will focus on driving profitable growth and accelerating the technology footprint across customer segments, creating strategic go-to-market alliances, and scaling the partner ecosystems, while building talent within the organisation’s ranks in the region.
With over 36 years of experience in the industry, Anil joined Palo Alto Networks from Google in India, where he led the Google Cloud business in India, helping to accelerate enterprises’ cloud transformation. He also spent eight years at NetApp as president for the India and SAARC region and played an instrumental role in driving the company's business growth.
Having held leadership positions in leading technology companies like NetApp, Sun Microsystems etc., Valluri brings with him extensive experience across diverse portfolios from sales to services business to consulting and product management.
Anil is an alumnus of Stanford University Graduate School of Business and is an avid single digit golfer, analog audiophile and DIYer.
Atul is partner and heads Digital Trust services for KPMG in India. He is also global cyber leader for Technology, Media and Telecom Sector (TMT) across KPMG International.
Atul has more than 25 years of experience in providing technology consulting services and cyber security services. In past 23 years with KPMG he has worked across all global regions.
He has widely contributed to growth and development of cyber security profession and has been associated with multiple industry forums. His contribution has been to wide range of industries, including Telecom, Financial Services, Government, Technology, Manufacturing and Energy.
More recently he has focused on innovation across cyber solutions to support industry in dealing with the increased cyber risk exposure. This ranges from automation at scale, self-healing solutions, large scale GRC, championing Trusted AI and cyber simulations.

Avneesh Pandey is Chief General Manager, Information Technology at Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). At SEBI, he is presently leading security and audit practice for the organisation and is responsible for cyber security oversight of the securities markets.
He has about three decades of securities market regulatory experience in business process innovation, big data analytics, enterprise IT solutions, IT and Cyber security etc. He has led technology committees on regulatory oversight and strategy implementation. He sees himself as a technology strategist and a process innovator.
He has obtained MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, UK, and has been an ADB-Japan Scholar for management studies at Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines.
Charlie Jacco is a Partner in the New York office at KPMG LLP and is the US Cyber Threat Management Leader and the Global Financial Services Industry Leader for KPMG’s Cyber Security Services practice. Charlie has focused extensively in multiple disciplines of the information security field, including Cyber Defense, Cyber Threat Management, Security Strategy & Governance, Security Transformation, Digital Identity, and Enterprise Identity & Access Management. Charlie is also a Sector Board Advisor of the FS-ISAC, which allows him to participate in a wide variety of cyber security and cyber risk topics with senior executives across the Financial Services Industry and other Fortune 100 companies.
Mr. Deepak Kumar Lalla, an esteemed banking professional with over 37 years of experience at SBI, currently serves as the Deputy Managing Director at SBI & concurrently holds the position of MD & CEO at SBICAP Securities Ltd.
His versatile career at SBI includes roles as CGM in Wealth Management, CGM at the Local HO and GM in Transaction Banking. He has also spearheaded Mobility Initiatives & specialized in e-commerce at the Corporate Centre in Mumbai.
Mr. Lalla possesses a strong academic background, including a master's degree in commerce and a Postgraduate degree in Financial Service Management, complemented by his certification as an Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

Dr. Dube has extensive experience of almost 30 years in working for both Public, Private and Research organizations in senior positions. Currently he is Executive Vice President and Group Head- Information Risk Management and Cyber Security of Reliance Industries Limited. His key responsibilities here mainly encompass design and implementation of state of the art Cyber Security and Information Risk Management processes and technologies in various businesses viz Petroleum Supply chain, Retail, Lifescience etc. both in IT and OT space. Prior to this he worked for almost three years as Executive Director of Paladion Networks (NowATOS Technologies) - one of the biggest pure play Technology Risk Management company in Asia. Prior to that He was in IDRBT (Institute for development and research in banking technology) for 6 years as Faculty and Head Consulting (On deputation from RBI). Before IDRBT Dr Dube was for almost 2 decades in RBI (Reserve Bank of India) and handled many senior roles in various RBI offices.

Mr. J. V. N. Subramanyam is currently the director in the Financial markets division in Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. He specialises in matters of International Financial Services Centre and the secondary market policy.
He is an Indian Administrative Service Officer of the 2009 batch belonging to the Assam cadre. He has 20+ years of versatile professional experience with a mix of private & public sectors including Finance and IT sectors. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant who has topped both the exams during 2001-2002. He is an Oracle Enterprise One Financial Management Certified Consultant alongside being a Master’s in Public Policy (MPP). He is a distinguished Chevening Gurukul fellow on Leadership during 2016 from King’s College London.
He specialises in Economic sector areas of Industrial Policy, Trade and Commerce, MSME promotion, Investment Promotion, Industry Infrastructure Corridors including EAPs, Ease of doing Business (EODB), Single Window clearances and Public Finance. Prior to his current posting, he served as Commissioner of Industries, MD of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation and CEO of the AP Economic Development Board.
His flair lies in the social sector in areas of Public Administration, Public Health, Secondary Education, Sanitation and Urban management, revenue matters including relief rehabilitation management and disaster mitigation. He has previously served as district magistrate cum deputy commissioner in Goalpara district of Assam including Bonagaigoan and Dhubri districts in various administrative and magisterial roles. He also served as the Mission director of the National Health Mission Assam and Chairman of the Secondary Education Board of Assam.
He has started his career with Tata Steel Jamshedpur working in the office of Financial Controller and has worked in various IT ERP and project management roles across his career in private sector as well. Before joining the IAS in 2009, he has worked as Assistant Superintendent of Police in the Indian Police Service (IPS) from 2006 in the Kerala cadre. He has been awarded the Karmasree- Assam Chief Minister’s award for leadership and excellence for consecutively 3 years between 2017 and 2019.

Mr. Vora is a member of the SEBI Policy Committees, FPI Advisory Committee (FAC), Market Data Advisory Committee (MDAC) and Secondary Market Advisory Committee (SMAC) and he chairs the Working Group on the Data Protocols for Secondary Markets of the MDAC. Nithin bootstrapped and founded Zerodha in 2010 to overcome the hurdles he faced during his decade-long stint as a trader. Nithin also started Rainmatter, an R&D fintech incubator and fund that has partnered with some of the best investment-tech startups in India. Rainmatter is focussed on creating an ecosystem for spurring innovation in the financial technology industry in India.

Raj Balakrishnan is the Co-Head of Investment Banking in India for BofA Securities, and has over 23 years of Investment Banking experience across M&A advisory and capital markets. He has worked on landmark transactions across a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions. He is also a member of the Country Leadership Team for the Bank of America Group in India, and of the Board of Directors of BofA Securities India Ltd.
Raj was a member of the SEBI Takeover Regulations Advisory Committee ("TRAC") and the SEBI Committee on Disclosures and Accounting Standards.
Raj has an MBA from IIM Calcutta, and a BE (Electrical Engg) degree from the University of Mumbai.
Ramachandra Kulkarni has 25 + years of experience in the Technology domain. His experience is primarily in the area of technology risk and business continuity. Ram is currently working as a Managing Director for the technology risk function in Bengaluru as well as leading the risk and control operations function in techrisk globally.
Ramachandra Kulkarni is also a regular speaker in NASSCOM, ISACA and other forums on various aspects of information security. He is certified as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, and ITIL. He has also co-authored a book titled “Extending Network Management through Firewalls” published by IBM press. Ram has also been a member of the DSCI working committee on new projects in the information risk as well as been a guest faculty for the CISA certification classes.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ram had worked in major technology companies and leading large projects on information risk. Ramachandra Kulkarni has also worked for IBM Global Services and Oracle Financial Services.

Prof. Umesh Bellur is currently a faculty at Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Bombay, Mumbai.

Vinayak Godse is the CEO of Data Security Council of India. He has over 27 years of experience in Information Security, IT Transformation, Intelligent Networking and Telecom Infrastructure.
Vinayak also leads the National Centre of Excellence (NCoE) for Cybersecurity Technology and Entrepreneurship, a joint initiative of DSCI and Ministry of Electronics & IT. NCoE is engaged in cybersecurity industry building, fostering security research and product engineering, and building an ecosystem for security entrepreneurship.
He has been deeply engaged with all initiatives of DSCI with government stakeholders and sectoral regulators. He was instrumental in developing DSCI Security Framework (DSF), DSCI Privacy Framework (DPF) and DSCI Certified Privacy Lead Assessor (DCPLA), DSCI Certified Privacy Professional (DCPP) certifications and conducted many of these training programs.
